How do I randomly pair tennis or pickleball players?

Paste at least two names, choose fully random mode and press Generate pairs. The tool shuffles the list and reveals each two-player pair.

Can the generator pair players by level?

Yes. Add A, B, C or D after a name and choose balanced mode. It prioritizes A with D and B with C while still handling missing levels.

What happens when the number of players is odd?

Everyone possible is paired and one randomly selected player is shown in the waiting or unpaired section.

Are the player names saved?

No. Parsing, shuffling and animation run in the browser; the public tool does not upload the list.

Can I use this for a tournament draw?

Yes. It is useful for club sessions and informal tournament partner draws. Organizers should still confirm eligibility and competition rules.
